Our convention home in Nashville is the Sheraton Music City Hotel. We've been gathering at the Sheraton since 1993, and it has proven to be the best facility in Nashville for our group. It offers us a "self contained" experience, where convention attendees have access to all the events and happenings 24/7, with your room just an elevator ride away. As well, amenities include a great pool and lounge area, free Wi-Fi, business center, gym and exercise facility, convenient food and drink options, numerous informal gathering spaces, and airport shuttle. And staying at the Sheraton is easy with a convention-special room rate which is very competitive with other hotels in the area. Everyone agrees - staying at the Sheraton, gives you the best CAAS convention experience possible.

When booking by phone, make sure you tell them you are with the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention. Do not try to book your room at the Sheraton through a 3rd party provider, because you will not get the special convention rate, and your room may not be properly credited to the CAAS convention room block. Part of our deal with the Sheraton is that the convention space we use is covered by an attendee room booking arrangement with the hotel. This means that we depend on a large percentage of members staying at the Sheraton, which in turn covers the expense of our (24,000 square foot) stage and meeting facilities. This factor keeps your convention registration fee very low, a fraction of what most 4-day conventions usually cost.
